Online gambling is natural fit for Zynga Games, says CEO Marc Pincus. Speaking at the Morgan Stanley Technology Media and Telecom yesterday, Pincus said that real money gaming is a good fit for virtual goods and social games.
Recent moves in law to open up lines for online gambling games on platforms like Facebook represent great opportunities for the now-public social gaming company. The social gaming company is well-position to jump on the billion-dollar opportunity, as Zynga Poker is the largest online poker game in the world. Zynga is currently releasing other casino-related games like Zynga Bingo.
“We’re interested, but you should expect to see us do a lot more than what you’ve seen in offshore casinos,” says Pincus.
