The Don’t Pass Line

The Don’t Pass Line is essentially the opposite of the Pass Line – players betting on the Don’t Pass Line are betting that the shooter will roll a seven before rolling the point number again – and, given that a seven is the number most likely to be rolled, this is a good place to go if you want to win.

Bets on the Don’t Pass Line win if the shooter rolls a two or three on the come out roll and lose if a seven or eleven are rolled.

If a twelve is rolled there is a push which means that no one wins or loses, and the house is able to maintain its edge.

All wins on the Don’t Pass Line pay even money which means that your bet will be equaled. For example, if a player bets $5 on the Don’t Pass Line, and their bet wins, they will be paid out $5.

All in all, it is a betting option that makes a lot of sense, especially for first time players

So, if betting against the shooter doesn’t worry you too much, come and play on “the dark side”.
