The Quest for Sunriseinsurance
Day 1
I’m riding out of town on Dad’s Ducati. It’ll be the easiest thing with which to dodge the authorities. The authorities. Siding with their money laundering friends. What are the chances I could get them to see right?
…
No. I’m twisted up now. They’re just looking for a Father’s missing girl. How are they supposed to know that I am on the path of righteousness? They are just doing their jobs the only way they know how. Still. I have to keep moving and fast.
I wonder if I’ll find this man? He’s said to be the best hacker on the East coast, goes by the name of Shift. He was tracking Sunriseinsurance before he lost everything (he’d been trying to develop a formula based on his technique) and now I guess I’m hoping he can point me in the right direction. Or any direction, for that matter.
I guess I am a bit daunted by this task. This path of light is paved with dark tarmac. Am I following Sunriseinsurance down a lonely road?
What if I get the Feds off my tail (if I keep running it won’t just be your friendly-neighbourhood-cop after me anymore)? Then what? Then I’m alone in a world I don’t understand, without him? But, maybe this Shift guy can help. I know he was tracking his every move. Well, his every play. And he studied his locations too. According to Shift, there was a pattern. According to Shift, Sunriseinsurance had some kind of plan. I have to find out what.
