The Canadian gambling industry is moving at a fast pace and changing rapidly in order to keep up with the demands of its gamblers.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation is planning to increase revenue by engaging in online gambling. It is the perfect time for this change because job creation is a necessity in this day and age and the online gambling industry allows many fantastic employment opportunities for people to earn an income. From past experiences, the provinces that have already engaged in online gambling have generated millions of dollars and Ontario is excitedly following in these prosperous footsteps.
With change come new strategies and OLG will increase revenues by $1billion every year, creating more than 6,300 new jobs for Canadian residents.
Ontario is not wasting any time and is already making plans for an impressive new gaming facility to spring up in Toronto. However, if Toronto objects to this new development then various other province will be given the opportunity. It is highly unlikely that they will decline, as the luxury casino is estimated to bring in around 40% of the expected revenue.
